Challenges
The academic team of FGV Finance was created in 2019 with the goal of competing in challenges hosted by the most renowned financial institutions. Since then, we have a track record of success achieved by our members.
Constellation Challenge 2023
CHAMPION
In the first semester of 2023, the seventh formation of the Academic Team of FGV Finance became the champion of the Constellation Challenge, with an analysis and buy recommendation for Arezzo & Co, surpassing around 350 groups and over 900 competitors.

The Constellation Challenge is the largest university competition of Equity Research in Latin America, organized by Constellation Asset Management.

In the first semester of 2021, the fourth formation of the Academic Team of FGV Finance became the champion of the Constellation Challenge, with an analysis and buy recommendation for BTG Pactual, surpassing around 350 groups and over 900 competitors.
The Constellation Challenge is the largest university competition of Equity Research in Latin America, organized by Constellation Asset Management.

The Constellation Challenge is the largest university competition of Equity Research in Latin America, organized by Constellation Asset Management.

CFA Challenge 2023
CHAMPION
In the second semester of 2023, the eighth formation of the Academic Team of FGV Finance achieved 1st place in the CFA Challenge, with a buy recommendation for Suzano.
The CFA Challenge is one of the world's main research competitions, with the Brazilian stage organized annually by CFA Society Brazil.

In the second semester of 2022, the sixth formation of the Academic Team of FGV Finance achieved 1st place in the CFA Challenge, with a buy recommendation for Vivara.
The CFA Challenge is one of the world's main research competitions, with the Brazilian stage organized annually by CFA Society Brazil.

FINALISTS
In the second semester of 2020, the third formation of the Academic Team of FGV Finance achieved 3rd place in the CFA Challenge, with a hold recommendation for Construtora Tenda.
The CFA Challenge is one of the world's main research competitions, with the Brazilian stage organized annually by CFA Society Brazil.

Bradesco BBI Challenge
Bradesco BBI Challenge 2023
CHAMPION
In May 2023, FGV Finance, represented by the GDPM Capital group, became the champion of the Bradesco BBI Research Challenge, with an analysis and outperform recommendation for Oncoclínicas.

The work was presented to the bank's Equity Research team.

Bradesco BBI Challenge 2021
CHAMPION
In May 2021, FGV Finance, represented by the SMGS Capital group, became the champion of the Bradesco BBI Research Challenge, with an analysis and outperform recommendation for Enjoei.

The work was presented to the Equity Research and Sales & Trading teams of the bank, as well as to the founders of the analyzed company.

Stone Challenge
Stone 2020
CHAMPION
In October 2020, FGV Finance, represented by the FGMR Capital group, became the champion of the Stone Investment Competition, with an analysis and investment recommendation in the fintech CondoConta.
The Stone Investment Competition is one of the largest Venture Capital competitions in Brazil. In it, groups have the opportunity to experience VC in practice, choosing to invest in one of the three companies brought by Stone.

BTG Pactual Experience
BTG Pactual 2019
CHAMPION
In second semester of 2019, when it was created, the Academic Team of FGV Finance surpassed more than 180 groups and over 500 competitors to achieve its first title, the BTG Pactual Experience 2019. The competition, which lasted about 3 months, involved courses, classes, and interactions with the bank's partners, rewarding our team at the end, which presented a sell thesis on Banco Inter. The winners were able to undertake a Summer Job at BTG Pactual in their area of greatest interest.
